EDFA

EDFA

CATV EDFA series is a line of low noise, high performance optical amplifiers designed to provide cost effective and turnkey amplification solutions for broadband CATV networks. Using a single pumped scheme, device ensures stable output power over the operating range 1530 to 1565nm.

It supports over three modes of operation by switching through a command line interface. Device management and monitoring is ensured over SNMP for different performance parameters such as input power, output power, pump laser current, pump laser temperature etc. Device is featured with built –in optical switch options for optical redundancy. Have different models with AC and DC power supply options.
